The Armenian energy system will gradually transition to a new energy market model from February 1, 2022.
The training course “Energy: technology and innovation” held in Yerevan from January 18 to 21, 2022 was devoted to broadening the understanding of market liberalization and deepening knowledge of the basic principles decision-making based on the latest technologies that are deployed in various fields of energy production.
The training program was designed by faculty Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources at University College London (UCL). The training was provided by the Executive Coaching and Training Institute (ECTI).
The lectures were given by the instructors who had undergone their training as part of the ToT program organized by the UCL Bartlett School.
More than 30 professionals from energy system companies participated in this training. Four of these participants received the merit-based ECTI scholarship.
The scholarship was established in 2020 in memory of Rima Khachatryan, educator, honored pedagogue of Armenia, ardent advocate of lifelong learning, author of textbooks used by a dozen colleges for over a decade .
It enables scholars to participate in training courses in accordance with modern educational standards and adapt to rapidly changing labor market demands through lifelong learning and personal development.
