LAKE WORTH, Texas (AP) – A military trainer crashed in a neighborhood near Fort Worth, Texas, injuring two pilots and damaging three homes.
Authorities say the two pilots managed to eject themselves from the plane before it crashed in Lake Worth on Sunday, just west of Fort Worth.
Police chief JT Manoushagian told a press conference that a pilot’s parachute got tangled in power lines and the two were being treated for injuries.
One of the pilots is in critical condition. He said people who live in the three damaged houses will be displaced because of the accident.
The Lake Worth fire chief said the crash could have been much worse.
