Red Rock will host Art Studio Monday

The Artist’s Club will host an open house beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21 at the Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave. at Fairmont. Bring a project to work on with others and be inspired by the creativity in the room. This event is FREE. Everyone is welcome.

Valley Quilters is holding a meeting on Monday

Blue Earth Valley Quilters will hold their next meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the Blue Earth Area High School Choir Hall. Enter through the door “V” on the south side of the building. A $5 membership fee will be collected from those who have not yet paid. After the introductions, a ‘Show-and-Tell’ will begin. Due to inclement weather which forced a cancellation last month, this month’s program will be Lin Hilgendorf of Welcome, who will have an exhibition of her quilts showing her favorite applique, watercolor and miniature techniques. The CER will propose an upcoming community activity

Fairmont Community Education & Recreation (CER) will be offering an upcoming community activity next week. Succession Success: Local Businesses Say It All. Are you planning to buy, sell or transfer a business in the next 5-10 years? This is your chance to hear from a University of MN extension educator, a business succession expert from the Small Business Development Center, and a local panel of business owners who recently made the their business transition. Sign up for one of two sessions available from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22 or from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Best Western at Fairmont. Football Association Flower Sale

The Fairmont Soccer Association is hosting its annual flower sale until Friday, March 25. You can order flowers and vegetables directly from the website at or go to the Fairmont Soccer Association website or Facebook page for paper order forms. .
