As July begins, here are the events taking place in Orange County on July 4 and the first week of the month.

4th of July Show: The Music of Queen- Irvine

Play along to classic Queen hits including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are The Champions” and “Another One Bites The Dust,” performed by the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and the band Windborne on July 4 at the FivePoint Amphitheater in ‘Irvine from 8 p.m. to noon. a m

The cost of the ticket will range from $39 to $199 and can be purchased online.

Brea Country Fair – Brea

Start your Independence Day with a visit to the annual Brea National Fair and enjoy live shows, food and games alongside a parade of children and dogs. The event will take place at Brea Town Hall Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission to the event is free.

Races in the parks – Laguna Niguel

Bring your family to participate in the 43rd Laguna Family YMCA Run in the Parks event at Laguna Niguel Family YMCA and Regional Park on July 4th. The event will raise funds to provide scholarships or any financial need for people to access family services.

The 5K race will start at 8:00 a.m. while ages 12 and under can take part in the Kids Run at 9:00 a.m.

You will have to pay $45 to participate in the 5K and $25 to be at the Kids Run.

Arts Festival – Laguna Beach

Explore artwork by more than 140 Orange County artists throughout the open gallery event in Laguna Beach on July 5. In addition to visiting the exhibit, guests are invited to dine at the on-site restaurants and create their own work of art while enjoying live music and special events.

Tickets cost between $10 general admission on weekdays and $15 on weekends. Seniors pay $7 on weekdays and $11 on weekends. Q The cost of a ticket for children 12 and under is $5.

Pageants of the Masters – Laguna Beach

Head to 650 Laguna Canyon Rd. to witness the 85th anniversary of the county’s long-running theatrical performance of bringing famous works of art to life on July 5th. A live narrator will help guide the audience through the story behind each artwork using music performed by an orchestra.

Guests are advised to leave early to avoid traffic and bring binoculars and seat cushions for easy viewing.

Tickets are available for purchase online and prices will range from $30 to $120, depending on seating.
